A cartoon character, living in two dimensions, uses a highly sophisticated (and unproven) recent scientific theory to justify his claim that his apparently three-dimensional universe is in fact two-dimensional, in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Let’s settle for 2.5 dimensions and break out the Klein bottles of beer.
