Will no one rid me of this troublesome Hog. BTW, what Clem just did wasn’t hogging, it was theft, and his parents should be charged with the replacement cost.

Some people just don´t raise their kids right. Pascale may be over the top with certain things, but at least he is on the right side :)

So that’s where Larry has been up to since the 3 Stooges died, I mean disbanded. He became a pediatrician.

Clem is not so much a hog as a normal child who thinks everything is rightly his- he’s entitled to these things because he exists. It’s a mentality that’s natural, since as a baby, all of his needs and wants were given freely. This is supposed to gradually cease as children learn the concepts of sharing and property ownership (not everything is MINE!), so this is his parents’ fault. Some kids never grow out of this mentality and become adult with this mentality. In fact, a portion (not all!) of what recently has been referred to as the “47%” in this country still believe they are entitled the property of others. I say a portion because I believe a large amount (and hopefully a sizable majority) of those who receive benefits for not working would prefer to work. It’s what identifies us. Think about the first thing you’re asked after being introduced to someone- “So, what do you do?” This will change soon, though a lot of damage has been done over the last 3.8 years.

Clem has always been a hog. He’s even held “how to be a hog” class for Pasquel and Mimi (they failed, of course!) If you see flash backs, I think Clem’s mom, Fanny, was kind of a hog too. Plus people, THIS IS A COMIC! Take it for the entertainment that it’s created for!

My God people! This is a comic strip…can’t we leave politics out of it? There’s enough of that in regular everyday life. I read these for entertainment and don’t want to see RW teabaggers here showing their ignorance because you do it more than enough on the actual political blogs.

Karma will get Klem when he goes to the Dentist and has to have all his teeth drilled as his dad takes out a payday loan to pay for the work! Meanwhile Pasquale will have a zero-cavity moment.

Clem is a kid. Pasquale is a good kid.I doubt Clem will end up in Juvie because sooner or later someone will bust the bubble Clem lives in and Pasquale will be there to help pick up the pieces. As to politics, we’ve pretty much arrived at a place where everyone is wearing earplugs and communication has stopped. We’d rather point fingers and assign blame than actually listen and work out a solution. It’s not ignorance. It’s fear that has its talons in us. What a pity we’re all right to be afraid …

Wealth and poverty are typically inherited rather than earned. Karl Marx’s error wasn’t on the nature of the class struggle. It has held up rather well since 1848. His error, because the only examples he had were the US and French revolutions, was that the rich inevitably got richer and the poor poorer until having nothing to lose but their chains, the poor rise up in violent revolution. There are enough examples since 1848 to show this is not necessarily the case. However, the US 1% seems determined to prove Marx correct in all aspects.

Seems like the pediatrician here was, at one time, Clem’s mother’s fertility specialist.

“Teabagger” is only a sexual word if YOU interpret it that way. Everyone calls the RW radicals that with NO sexual connotation implied and you know it.

AshburnStadium – just exactly where do you get your statistics – i’d love to see you prove your statement about half america supporting that kind of activity. And when you cannot prove your claim – an apology for making inflamatory satements using made up statistics would be appropriate.

One of these days he’s going to be told no and he’ll react violently. It happened nearby me, a 13 yr old and his friend killed his great grandmother with a hammer and a hatchet and then went and got a pizza.
