Why would any lawyer put up with the verbal abuse from a client who is never going to pay their fees?

Trump should just play Daffy Duck cartoons as his defense. It won’t matter because most of the Republicon Senators are self serving cowards. Their too scared of him and his terrorists base. Acquitted before the trial even starts.

Requirements: unblinking loyalty to Trump, willingness to break laws, know conspiracy theories by heart, does not care what happens to your reputation – including after Trump throws you under the bus, and must not expect to get paid.

I understand his first team resigned because they said his entire defense should be based on the idea that you can’t impeach somebody (sole remedy: removal from office) who’s no longer in office, but he insisted that they HAD to assert that the election really WAS stolen.

He’ll probably give the exact same instructions to his second team, and they’ll probably go out the same way, throwing up their hands that he won’t agree to their preferred insanity defense.

He just needs lawyers who are willing-and able-to sell his conspiracy theories. This proves that there are some things that even a lawyer won’t do!
