Gravedigger Trump, burying the labor of millions of Americans and the last hundred years of presidents. He does it so easily. Whatta man!
The most disgraceful disgusting excuse for a president ever.
The annual meeting of the World Health Assembly — the general assembly of the World Health Organization — is normally not something that attracts major attention outside the circle of those directly concerned.
But the meeting this week was very different. Here, the post-American world was on full display as it has seldom been seen before. It is not that the United States has ceased to exist — far from it. But it has left behind any ambition of global leadership and any function as a global inspiration.
Maybe we will hit the 100,000 on Memorial Day and then he will have more reason to celebrate his greatest achievement
3 1/2 years after the fact
As we try to dig ourselves out of the Trump years, assuming we are not stupid enough to double down on them, we will spend years being a pariah nation, banned from traveling to other nations because of our mismanagement of the coronavirus. The irony of being banned from traveling, rather than being the one imposing bans is rich.
Any normal human would be ashamed. Trump just tosses blame aside as easily as he tossed paper towels to hurricane victims. I see another Trump flag molesting event coming this weekend. He and his MAGAts think that makes him a great American.
Trump should rest in place.
Even though this toon show him caught on tape, he will deny any responsibility. The fault belongs to Obama, Biden, Hillary, Nancy, Xi, or the Martians.
Our influence militarily, economically, politically and socially around the world are all significantly reduced in the last 3.5 years. Forget about being great again. It’s going to take a decade at least to get back to where we were in 2016 in terms of “greatness”. We have to return to time before “greatness” became equivalent with selfishness.
Two groups of people that hate each other (for whatever reason) will enjoin to fight against a common enemy. It’s been a common occurance throughout history.
COVID-19 is an enemy of ALL members of the human race.
It SHOULD mean the warring factions in the US Congress would join together in a spirit of bipartisanship to deal with this crisis.
Don’t be daft.
All due to our great leadershit.
Once again Trump turns his back after burying the error of his ways and hoping the world didn’t notice. They have.
I thought that died a long time ago.
Sadly accurate Rob; heartbreaking for a proud American.
You know, I never thought I’d have to say Kaddish for my country.
His minions heard “Make America Great Again”—what he actually said was “Make America Grotesque Again”
The leader of the free world speaks Deutsch, and laughs (albeit behind her hand) at the antics of the Orange Maroon.
Love of country is why every real “American patriot”, despises Bonespurs. Our reputation around the world is now lower than whale poop, and it’s not just lawyers.
Someone should have asked him how he defines great. I think his definition might sound like ‘isolationism’…
The orange buffoon has taken America from global leader to global embarrassment!
It’s a sad, sad world we live in….no matter what country….evil lurks and destroys….
In 1984, The Party didn’t care about Eurasia or Eastasia, it just wanted its power over Oceania to be absolute. The Republican Party doesn’t care about the rest of the world, it just cares about power.
Madeline Albright, writing in The Economist:
When properly led, America can still do more than any other country to move the world in the right direction. An America that has recovered its true voice can help people everywhere to oppose the unconstrained power grabs of authoritarians and would-be dictators. It can work closely with democratic allies to support those struggling to maintain their rights, their voices and their dignity. It can make science and reason, not national one-upmanship, once again the basis for global decision-making. It can, in short, go a long way towards restoring our collective faith in the future.
At the Geneva Summit in 1985, where Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev met for the first time, the American president asked the Soviet leader a question that had been weighing on him. “Would you help us,” he asked, “if the United States were suddenly attacked from outer space?” Gorbachev responded without hesitation. “No doubt,” he said. “We too,” replied Reagan.
The dialogue and solidarity among adversaries then, faced with a “Day the Earth Stood Still”-type question, is a useful reminder to us now. And once the covid crisis subsides, nations will see other dangers that call out for international collaboration, from climate change to terrorism. Like Reagan, they will ask of one another: “Would you help us?”
The answer will show whether we have learned nothing from the current crisis or—as I would prefer to believe—reawakened to the logic that, by standing together, we can resume progress towards a more peaceful, more prosperous and safer world.
The watchword for Memorial Day is “Lest we forget.” So … lest we forget …

People are not going to stop dying from this plague because it’s summer. When schools open in the fall and they will, the dying will increase and he just does not give a shit. Sep on the CDC’s neck because it might tell everyone how bad it is and what we really have to do to stop this thing. Stop supporting the WHO because same reason as above. Trump and the snake pit they call the “Grand Old Party” just do not give a shit.
MAGA – making Americans Grumpy Again.
