There is no front door, since the immigration system is broken and there’s no will on the part of Republicans to do anything to it. And they don’t want free stuff, they want to get here and work hard. Usually harder than Americans. Every sober economic analysis shows that there would be a huge boon to America, both financially and culturally, from letting people in, and it would greatly improve our tax revenues to have these people on the books.

If you want fewer illegals, prevent them from being hired.
I’d be interested to know if any legislator at any level ever proposes this.

Absolutely. All 12 million illegals came here starting the day Obama was elected. There were NO illegals in the country before that.

Minors are here because conditions are so horrific at home. Many countries accept refugees, why should we think we are better than they are?

Why does congress need to act? Illegal immigration is illegal. The congress doesn’t want to change that. That doesn’t mean they haven’t acted.
