Eeeeee…. I sincerely hope that Assad won’t go that route. Those bombs would damage the environment there, not just the people….

“Assad, twin brother of Saddam? O has given the wink-wink-nod-nod to using Sarin gas on his own people.”

I usually don’t wade into the insulting fray here, but I can understand how people berate you on these pages. That is one of the dumbest remarks I’ve seen you post and you do post some stupid comments. Is it your stated purpose to look stupid or just alienate everyone to your supposed political stance? You have zero credibility here, you do realize that don’t you? Sheesh, such a moron…

Given Mr. Ima’s insane remark about our President condoning the use of poison gas against human beings, I request that the gocomics moderators remove him from this forum.

    Enough is enough.

The 1st amendment applies when government tries to suppress speech. A private web site is another matter.

Do you understand the difference between having a budget and having a debt ceiling? The budget is passed by Congress (not the President) and it is their responsibility to propose the spending. The debt ceiling is a cap on how much the country can spend, and has nothing to do with the budget. The debt ceiling has to do with paying our bills, the ones the Congress agreed to in their last budget, not in planning a new budget.

Republicans STILL think they are entitled to their own facts.

You need to flush out that post with a few other facts. Yes jobs were up, which is good. The 7.7% is a negative trend which is people that have given up looking for work and bailed out of the workforce rather than new jobs created. . Worse yet is the labor pool these people are from, primarily the 18 to 34 group. That’s bad. Most of the jobs were service sector and retail which are the lowest paying. Another negative is manufacturing jobs and “production” jobs declined. Also, previous job gains numbers were adjusted down 49,000, normal on a month to month basis. In other words the headline numbers look good but you have to dig into the details for the realities. And yes, they are really a pain in the butt to interpret, but the data is based strictly from BLS numbers…
