Ooo, can’t wait to see the cartoon critical of Tucker Carlson broadcasting live from Turkey and with boundless praise for Viktor Orban, dictator of Turkey.
Umm, first off XtopherSD, Carlson is in Hungary not Turkey. Second, Orband is the freely elected president of Hungary and is no dictator. See, this is why liberals have no cred, they just blurt out nonsense with no attempt to fact check the crap they post. Then other lefties spread their disinformation without verifying what was posted.
This is a legitimate ‘toon regardless of one’s (USA) politics. Thumbs up for Ariail !
Carlson should just stay in Hungary since he likes it so much.
I have a flightradar24.com subscription, and they sent a notification to track her flight — which was conspicuously avoiding Belarusian airspace. She made it safely to Austria, overflying Poland instead of Belarus.
Republicans are turning dictator Orband into a role model.
Democratic backsliding in both Poland and Hungary https://www.europeaninstitute.org/index.php/ei-blog/287-july-2016/2180-democratic-backsliding-in-poland-and-hungary-8-4
@kraklinrosie^^^ Stupid is as stupid does
The multiple meaning sign wording in the cartoon is actually ironic.
Today it was revealed that her choice to defect came after she learned that the dictatorship in Belarus was releasing news reports in that nation that she was being forcibly returned because of severe mental illness. Guess where she was warned (by her family) that she was likely to be put against her will?
Let’s face facts: any extreme government which prevents fair elections that represent many viewpoints and does not have a Constitution that protects the citizenry is in or approaching the category of dictatorship and it does not matter if it is on the right or left because anything extreme is bad in pretty much all the same ways for the citizens. Fascists do what communists do, both to citizens and to businesses. Heck, a dictator doesn’t even have to fit either of those two categories to be just as bad in the same ways.
Run, ’skaya, run!
