I could be a little more understanding if they would drop their “Stop The Steal” and adopt the more truthful “Save The Con” as their rallying cry. The hallmark of the really great con-artists is their ability to leave the marks wanting more. A sheep farmer doesn’t kill the sheep for its wool, he shears them then lets them grow more wool to be sheared again and again. And in the meantime, he keeps his sheep convinced they’re happy and protected. (And it’s a very hard thing to convince the sheep they’re being conned.)

As someone on TV at the time mentioned, there’s a big disconnect seeing people waving Confederate flags while chanting “USA”!
