So no matter how much of a criminal he is, no matter how much harm he causes to America, Individual 1 shouldn’t be impeached? Because it would be worse for the Democrats?

Are the Democrats the ones ignoring subpoenas? Our “president” sought the help of a foreign government TWICE NOW to help him with domestic political affairs.

Selling out to foreign governments is just about the highest crime a “president” can commit!

Does anyone with at least one functioning brain cell honestly think that if Il Douche gets impeached it will help his popularity like it did with Clinton?

Dems have been shooting themselves in the foot with their impeachment histrionics since before the inauguration.

It’s something to see that certain cartoonists are fine with the Rump destroying innocent peoples’ careers, putting peoples’ lives at risk, losing the confidence of allied countries, and using the power of his office for personal gain at the expense of his country. I could go on, but those examples alone should have your condemnation. You, Mr. Ariall, and all the other cartoonists and the whole GOP who still back the beast in the WH are now complicit in his behavior by not calling it out.

Arial seems to think that enforcing the constitutional limits on this President will backfire on the Dems. That may be so, but if it is so, then our nation has already lost.

So what I’m getting from the last run of strips is that trump is committing High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

And if the Democrats do anything about it, it will only hurt them.

Therefore, they alone are acting for the good of the nation, and should be commended for doing the right thing.

We’re living in Bizarro World today. Hair Groppenfuhrer is the natural leader and his actions/words are not only tolerated but encouragedb by Magats, ’Cons, and syncophants in the media.

the only people that say impeachment will backfire on the Democrats are the people who would never vote for a Democrat in the first place.

Mr. Arial, it is possible you are correct. But, I think it is more likely you are wrong. Things are feeling different this time. He probably won’t be convicted in the Senate but the information that is getting out there seems to be having a large effect on the public opinion of the independents.

There has to be consequences when a president uses his office to further his/her corruption. Otherwise, what kind of message does it send to future Potuses?

So Trump thinks the Democrats will not impeach him but will impeach themselves? Let me know how that turns out.

Now, we need to be really clear on this Robert, Democrats can now go to foreign countries and ask them for dirt on Trump and support in the election, right?

It’s OK for Republicans, so it must be OK for Democrats, right?

You wouldn’t want to be setting up a situation where you get to scream about Buddhist Temples and Chinese Connections while you run with your Russian donors and Russian connections freely, would you?

    https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2000-apr-30-mn-25057-story.html

After all, you guys ran “Honest Al” into the dirt, because he went to a fundraiser where they didn’t tell him foreign nationals would be present. And you all lied shamefully about it.

And now we have a POTUS who had hundreds of concealed documented connections with foreign nationals during the campaign, has foreign business connections he refuses to drop, openly invites foreign nationals to spend money visiting his properties, and has admitted to pressuring the President of the Ukraine to investigate the families of his political rivals.

So you’re now OK with Democrats taking the same actions? Yes or no, it’s not multiple choice.

Every day breaking news multiple times. After being “exonerated” by the Mueller Report, Trump and his henchmen went the proverbial one step too far, grabbed the rope themselves. No one had to give it to them. They’re all slippery scum and I prefer the Democrats have too much evidence than just enough.

do they want to secure a moral victory – or do they want to elect a Democrat in 2020?

They aren’t exclusive, they can do both.

The majority of America SUPPORTS impeachment.

And Trump has NEVER had the support of the majority of Americans. EVER.

There is NO political danger in going after this disgusting, Un-American criminal. He is HATED by the American people. America is sick and tired of the endless clown-show from a loudmouth who continuously praises himself.

The 30% who WOULD support him if he shot a Kurd a on 5th Avenue notwithstanding.

Here’s a thought: An honorable man might say, “I have done nothing wrong, nothing that would call for impeachment. However, my presidency and this impeachment business are causing such pain and divisiveness in the country that as of today, I am resigning as president.”

Every time I hear a rethug talk about how much impeachment will hurt the Democrats all I can hear is the fear in their voice. It’s like some Mafioso telling the FBI how bad it will go if they prosecute them. This time Peter rabbit really does NOT want to get thrown into the brier patch.

Mr Arial I note you do not say DJT is guilty and I further note that you do not think that impeachment would be the best thing for the country regardless of the final outcome. So which is it? Stop trying to sit on the fence!
