I was a young adult when Nixon did his turn and after all these years those “song titles” still make my spine crawl. Wonder how long it’s gonna take to recover from the Orange One?

Ariel ignores the fact that Trump’s actions mirror Nixon’s.

Old recording is being remastered. Titles haven’t changed much.

Nixon should NOT have been pardoned.

Iran-Contra criminals should not have been pardoned (thanks, Bill Barr).

Bush and Cheney cabal SHOULD have been prosecuted for war crimes.

These actions / inactions encouraged the criminality happening today from Trump, McConnell and almost all of the rest of the Repubs.

Second right-wing cartoon playing up the fact that they called Dean as an expert witness. Which he is. The only reason I watch this side of the ‘toons is to make sure I’m not missing something. It’s kinda unpleasant, but at least I get to engage in Schadenfreude sometimes.

Ariail may have a good memory, but does he have good sense? I’d vote “No!”

Oh, please. Is this defending #45? Or Nixon? Or both? It’s not overreach to look at TREASON!

Trump Disciples see absolutely no parallel between Nixon’s behavior and that of Trump.

Oh, I see that the right-wing populist taste du jour is a Watergate look-back.

Nixon’s Attorney General acted as the peoples lawyer. Trumps is acting as his personal defense attorney.

Nixon put his own interests ahead of those of his country. Trump doesn’t even seem to realize that there is such a thing as interests that are not his own.

Pour us each a glass of Merlot, turn down the lights and let’s enjoy “Impeachable You” again and again. So soft, so sweet, so true – what a wonderful song.

Prosecuting criminals for their crimes is not overreach.
