Wikipedia: Cardini’s daughter said that the original recipe included whole lettuce leaves, which were meant to be lifted by the stem and eaten with the fingers
Once again this strip comes up with impossible statements. If a tsp of soil micros outnumber people on earth, this must have been written in the dark ages. We debunked this old falsehood in microbiology lab many decades ago.
I’ve never seen any version of Dumbo, but that takes some mad writing skills to write an entire movie around a character with no speaking lines—-and have it become a classic!

Someone’s going to have to explain to me how a salad dripping with dressing was intended as finger food.

Does the elephant even speak in the 2019 remake? I’ve not seen it. (Who’d want to eat salad covered in dressing with their fingers anyway?)

Specifically, giant armadillos have 80 to 100 teeth. Smaller species may have fewer than humans.

I eat armadillos with my fingers. I’m just kinda a hand to mouth type guy.
