Oktoberfest does quite well in Fredericksburg Texas, it’s over near Luckenbach with Willie and the boys.
And some residents of central Pennsylvania speak a distinct dialect of German as well.
We have people who dress like Varcoe here in the Blue Mountains; we call them trailer trash.
If they don’t have green cards, they’ll be in trouble with Trump.

OK, here I am wearing the same clothes as yesterday with a beer in hand while sitting in the snow: do I get a “Believe It or Not?”
I’ve worn jeans and tshirts for way longer than 8 years…
I’m delighted that the boy survived the avalanche. God was certainly looking out for him.

I rather fancy that should be „Grüß”, not „Grüb“.
And in southeastern PA, some speak a dialect known as Pennsylvania Dutch. Which of course is not Dutch but German. And even though I speak German and English, I never could understand my wife’s grandmother.
