    Gamma Ray Bursters or GRB’s can destroy habitable planets by stripping off their ionosphere and bathing the planet in dangerous gamma rays. If close enough.

    (It is rumored that the dreaded and primordial “Old Ones” called KUTULLÛ did that to adversaries. Cause two neutron stars to collide and aim that gamma ray beam to the solar system of their perceived enemies. )

    Fortunately most of them are pointed in different directions or too far away. One may have hit us in the Devonian Extinction.

    Since Eta C. is 7,500 LY distance, it means anything we’re seeing today actually happened around 5,500 BC.
