Yesterday’s 2019 reprint had a rather sad side to it. I remember calling it a “wonderful sad-sweet cartoon”. Today’s 2019 reprint is sweet without any sadness.
I just started reading this strip recently.
Can anyone tell me what Red’s parents are like? I hope they’re better than Calvin"s!!
What a wonderful way to live. Those smiles say it all. (Several extension cords noted, lol).
Easy, breezy summer fun!
It’s not too late to order your PERSONALLY AUTOGRAPHED copy of Brian Basset’s latest book, “Red and Rover: Fun’s Never Over.” Just let him know what you want the inscription to be and zoom! Your signed copy will be in your mailbox before you can say “Popsicle Pete!”
What a wonderful summer nap! Check out their smiles—pure bliss!
Even in the shade, it’s HOT!
it may seem frivolous at first but I’ve met people who sit outside with a fan. It keeps the mosquitoes away. That is why there are ceiling fans on southern porches. The breeze helps cool a little but helps blow away bugs more so.
Summer breeze, makes me feel fine.
Summer breeze makes me feel fine
Blowin’ through the jasmine in my mind
Blowin’ though the jasmine in my mind
If he lived in the planes, he wouldn’t need the fan. Nature would provide.
A fan prevents mosquito bites.
Now that’s living life …..
I don’t mind the sad strips. They make me cry, but they are really sweet.
I feel you, Red! It’s been 32 Celsius here.
No words needed …………. :)
Don’t laugh. It works.
