Good ol’ Red … He’d give you the shirt off his back – or the sock off his foot.

Despite the purpose they have, I have always also thought “doggy coats” look dumb. What is worse is when someone puts one on a dog (or cat) when it is not (that) cold.

That reminds me, does anybody know why a dog is able to walk out in the cold?

I always thought dog sweaters looked goofy and swore I’d never do that to my Labrador. Then we had negative digit weather so I ended up getting him a flannel jacket. Had to eat some crow after that. (I must be losing it – 3 serious comments in one day!)

Rover needs a bit of carpet or small rug to sit on while he waits with Red. I’ve seen it a couple times, and the dogs seemed to like it.

Red needs to get Rover a human nose warmer for his tail.

I usually have a cold nose, but wouldn’t put a sock on it.

That’s so sweet of Red, giving Rover one of his socks. If those are Wellies, Red might want to be carefull in where he takes them off. Not every person can have bare feet in them.

At least it wasn’t the tip of something else that was cold.
