Seize the moment! In the words of Marshal Fields " Sell the lady what she wants"! He’s a maker not a taker! Bravo

If red doesn’t become an astronaut when he’s older, he would make a great salesperson or business person

Quite the little entrepreneur our Red is. Good way to fund his astronaut course.

I’m a little worried about those two. They see snow, a hill, and other kids with sleds and they don’t wish to join in? Why?

I love the little detail of the red plaid Thermos bottles. I still have my parents’ Skotch Kooler from the ‘50s, and every time I see that dented plaid cylinder I’m transported back to our family trips in the ’57 Dodge Sierra station wagon.

In the ’50s our public high school built a large skating rink every year in their athletic field for everyone to use. Half was for hockey and the other half was for free skating. Across the street were residential homes, and in the nearest one was a woman who would prepare hot chocolate and cookies and bring them over for the kids, of which I was one. Some parents would build a fire at the edge of the rink for warming up. It produced some great memories.
