A tall dog was here earlier- possibly a great dane or an Irish wolfhound. Oh, c'mon- how can you tell all that from just a few aromatic whiffs? Because the scent starts from way up here. Sniff Sniff
Good nose, Rover! My Irish Setter, Katie, can smell another dog a mile away, I swear! We have to stop for the requisite sniff more than we walk! (Well, not quite , but close enough!) ;)
Elementary, my dear Rover!
Yes that is a tall dog; it is too bad that the taller the dog the shorter the life seems to be. Which means more Rover years to come.
reminds me of our Great Danes Rip, Judge and Sheba
I have seen rescued greyhounds, they were not as tall as a Great Dane, an Irish Wolfhound or an Afghan Hound so yes 14-15 years is good for the greyhounds.
If you can believe Wikipedia, "on March 16, 2010, Rover revealed that his grandfather, “Merganser McIntire”, was a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and his grandmother, “Codfish Kate”, was part Portuguese Water Dog.".I thought Rover was a Labrador…
Everytime I see Rex doing it I am thinking he smells the good eats from up the street!
“Windage and elevation Rover..Windage and elevation .”John Wayne in the movie..The Undefeated
That makes scents…
