Rover is a hero!

Our local paper carries this. They started with that strip.

I think Rover was probably going for the candy bar Red had in his pocket.

C! They met at Daisy Hill Puppy Farm, sadly it has been torn down and turned into a six-story parking garage.

I was reading the day it debuted. But…huh, Wikipedia says 2000, and my memory says 1999.

I am so proud of Rover for saving Red. And then Red saved Rover with a home! It was kind of hard to read on my Kindle Fire. I had to set it (Kindle) down on my coffee table and walk around to get the answer LOL.

Was Rover a puppy at the time…or just a young dog? ;)
