   Benjamin Franklin was a vegetarian in his youth. He learned it from a book, whose author Tryon wrote:

   “Seventy-five Noble dishes of Excellent Food, far exceeding those made of fish or flesh, which banquet I present to the sons of wisdom, or such as shall decline that depraved custom of eating flesh and blood.Refrain at all times such foods as cannot be procured without violence and oppression.    My daughter once had a boyfriend who ran an anarchist bookstore. He told me some skinheads threw a firebomb into his store. “What did you do?” I asked him. “I called the fire department and the cops. They put the fire out and the skinheads in jail.” Unlike Pig, it didn’t make him re-think anything.

   Attention Lynn: I am old enough to remember when Farley died, before you killed the whole strip and started over after your divorce. Don’t you DARE kill Farley again!! Don’t even let him get ill or deaf. Remember, you are writing a comic strip, not a novel! We want Farley healthy and funny.

   No. In fact, if you sell some bitcoin and transfer money to your bank, it will slow down your mortgage approval as you will have to explain where the money came from.

   That is true (I think) only in Britain. There are several different health-care models in different Western European countries. What they have in common is that everyone gets health care. But for example in The Netherlands and Switzerland, you are required to have and pay for health insurance.
