    I had an editor at the last newspaper I worked out (in the mid 1990’s) who said to me, “You look like you’re just sitting there doing nothing and then all of a sudden you’re done.” I was really happy he noticed and left me to work best my way: More thinking than doing. Have a great week, all!

    For me the rate of play allows for commiserations with friends while enjoying a bit of strategy and rare feats. It’s one of the few sports where the defense has the ball. And, yes, nothing like a good nap while listening to the game on the radio!
