A beautiful tribute to an obviously well-loved grandfather. May we all be loved so much and remembered so well when our time rolls around.

Methinks the use of “LePew” is a multifaceted play on words and editorial comment: (1) the obvious pun on LaPierre, (2) the current use of “pew pew pew” for gunfire, (3) LaPierre stinks.

What’s up with changing the way Rosencrantz and Guilderstern are drawn? They were perfect as they were – same unmoving images, same wall etc. It captured the seeming eternity of philosophical but slightly deranged homelessness

That’s because, to paraphrase the late great Walt Kelly, “Friday the 13th done come on a Thursday this month.”

Hang in there, Teresa! Your goofy friend in Starkghanistan is still out here wishing you well.

    Cheers,

    Nel

Hey Teresa, you OK? This is Nel, the Very Strange Geosciences Instructor in the Deep South. Today’s entry makes me sad - my T-shirt from that place is getting raggedy from long use. I do hope that isn’t where you are now; but if you are, may you pop out into the sunshine soon.

Hey Teresa, you OK? This is Nel, the Very Strange Geosciences Instructor. Whom you may, after all this time, not remember at all - - - but who thinks of you often and stays in touch, sorta, by reading your comic-strip diary (which is how I think of it!) as often as possible. Today’s entry makes me sad. I do hope that isn’t where you are now; but if you are, may you pop out into the sunshine soon. Hugs - Nel PS - I hope I did this right so that you see it but it doesn’t show up on the public page. And if I screwed up and it IS on the public page - what the hey, the other guys apparently care about you too.
