   Can we really be sure Matt is surprised to see Tracy? Mostly what I get off him is anger over the whole situation. We previously saw Tracy and Matt talking at the Ajax, and Tracy seemed to understand the situation, telling him he didn’t have to make the same mistake as his namesake. We never saw what they may have said after that. Isn’t is possible Matt’s in on a sting to catch Coffyhead?

   The rationale for the Fairness Doctrine was that most media markets had few (sometimes just one) broadcasters, so it was an attempt to keep a private company from using its monopoly to push a point of view without airing dissenting voices. Since cable/satellite channels, the internet, streaming, etc. have entered the picture, no one has a monopoly on information anymore. Large corporate media companies still dominate, though – for now.
