   Having seen Julie Newmar as Stupefyin’ Jones in the 1959 movie I’d risk the radiation. Stella Stevens played Appassionata von Climax (how did Capp get away with that name?!). There was Moonbeam McSwine (Carmen Alvarez) & of course Daisy Mae (Leslie Parrish). There have been 5 other film versions starting in 1940. The ’59 version came from the Broadway musical & was very successful at the box office. 5 Oscar nominations too.
