For some children, going through puberty and talking about it is fine with them because adults don’t make such a big deal out of it. It only becomes dreaded once the adults start to act like you’re an adult, and keep mentioning it.
How is it that the doctor doesn’t understand what she said has nothing to do with the task at hand, and that she can either ask about it afterwards, or just ask her mom privately?
