    true but you gotta think, the big nate comic strips came out before the diary of a wimpy kids comic strips (yes that is a thing.) And in an interview, the diary of a wimpy kid author, jeff kinney, said that greg’s fullness of himself came from nate. so if that doesn’t show you how big nate’s ego is, than idk what to say lol.
