When I have approached artists painting en plein air, I have inquired respectfully to learn from their perspective and experience, and they have seemed happy to share.

I remember reading a study contrasting the verbal utterances of boys with girls. I was surprised that the boys used more words in conversation but not surprised that the girls used higher level vocabulary words.
