   Totally agree. Jack is the strip’s happiest, healthiest character. Why would you possibly saddle him with the strip’s most suspicious, judgmental, least attractive character?

   Jack is this strip’s nicest, happiest, most even-keeled character. Evans can’t possibly be planning on putting him together with Bernice – the strip’s most neurotic, unhappy, and insecure denizen. She’s needs therapy and medication, not a boyfriend. She’d make his life miserable…
