Not to mention Tiff is Gunther’s friend he has known a lot longer than Bets.

Nah. If Zuckerberg didn’t create Facebook, we would still have MySpace.

“My comments are not criticisms and they are certainly not constant.”

    Wow. You really are deluded!

zzzzzzzz… I’m sorry. Your pontificating has that affect.

Yes. Sometimes a comic takes a serious tone. It’s still a comic. That’s the truth.

Because you act like you don’t know it is a comic. Duck is completely delusional.

Actually, calling it an old comic song is itself an old song. And it doesn’t make the comment less legitimate. Your constant criticisms are a really old song.

It’s just the truth. You just don’t seem to get it. You just like to pontificate your little fantasies.

Are you being purposely obtuse? The point of her saying “this didn’t actually happen” about any character means she made it up, just as she does for April. But it is still based on her experiences, whether personally or observation. All the characters are fictional.

Actually, they are. Any creation from one’s imagination are still founded on that person’s experience. While the other characters are based on her family, not all situations are exactly what has happened. She still creates situations from her imagination. Her comments often specifically say “this really happened” but also sometimes say “this never happened”. If it never happened, then she created it from her imagination. Not everything in the comic is a direct reflection of the author’s life. No first husband. No two divorces. Michael and Elizabeth don’t have separate father’s. Not really " derived from their real-life counterparts" is it?
