I hope you recover quickly. I use a CPAP. It’s just a matter of getting used to it and adjusting things until it works for you. Like GSD Mom, I use a nasal pillow instead of a full mask. But I added a chin strap so I would not breathe through my mouth and bypass the CPAP.
Occasionally I walk into the kitchen at night, turn on the light and find Tater Tot and Little Mischief staring raptly at the slit of space under the dishwasher or stove. Then I turn out the light and walk away.
Spoke to GSD Mom last night. She seems to be doing ok. Still needs oxygen, but they are dialing it back. No word yet on when she will get to come home.
Akiro seems to be settling. He is currently in my lap, being cuddly and wanting attention. Not sure if it’s the Feliway or if he’s just getting use to my house, but whatever works.
