At the time, dinosaurs were typically depicted as stupid (small-brained), lumbering and slow (because some were SO big). I think that explains the “clomping.”
Could this be the first time that Pig-Pen is named without the use of inverted commas? Every time I’ve seen him up to now he’s been called “Pig-Pen” by the others.
