Gene and Mary Lou seem to be on a good path. “Teach your parents well”.
How about a foot sweep take down?
Yeeesh! The (not) walking dead.
Panel three, love it!
I prefer panel 7 of the July 18, 2021 strip. Punch, punch, punch!
The air is a bit rank!
I had a job (1) as newspaper carrier, (2) at an animal rescue and kennel worker, (3) as a miniature golf course manager, and (4) as a steel mill worker. It took a lot of time juggling. The places are all gone now. Actually physically gone, except for the newspaper – but it is staggering. Retraining is a must.
One college displayed old technology in window insets along its hallways. One day it had an array of objects for calculations including an “antique” Post Versalog. Sigh.
Have Gun Will Travel – talk about time travel. In 1957 when the TV series began, we were engineering students who usually yakked about the show each week. Our classes required slide rules every day. Good ones (Post Versalog) cost $28 and came with a leather case that attached to one’s belt. Sure enough, several students decided to keep the case from flopping around by tying the free end of the case to their legs just above the knee. Of course, one student glued an image of a knight chess piece to his case.
I have no idea whether or not that student ever graduated.
