I taught school in Flint, MI. Many of the white kids skipped school for opening day. I asked the black kids why they didn’t go hunting. They replied, “Walk around in the woods with a bunch of old drunk white guys with rifles? Are you nuts?”
It is the same with kayaks and canoes. My current count is 4. I bought one a couple of weeks ago from a guy whose wife noticed he had two identical ones, and he had to offload one in a hurry. . . A general purpose one, a playboat for whitewater, a tandem so you can take a passenger, a long fast boat to keep up with my girlfriend…..I need a canoe to take cargo on two week or longer voyages… And don’t get me started about sewing machines
