I yearn for a different decision in 1948. Should have never gone with the English and French. Should have set them up in Delaware or Jersey and avoided the last 70+ years.
I had a high school friend who was both brave and courageous. He was a Marine and died in March of 1967 near the DMZ in Vietnam at age 22. That was after serving at the White House for his first couple years. I think about him often and have visited him at “The Wall” on several occassions. Semper Fi, David.
No, people just don’t want an old guy. Why? Well, they would rather have a young person who doesn’t know what is going on, doesn’t know the history of what has happened in the past, and doesn’t know how to get things done. But, but, he’s not old.
Where ever he goes, I hope someone gives him and actual accordian to put on those two hands he keeps squeezing together when he’s talking. Maybe if he plays “Lady of Spain” it will drown out his constant crying about how everyone keeps treating him like the doofus that he is.
Have a friend who went to U. of Michigan to play football, still lives there. Have you ever heard it called " Meatchicken"?
