For help on how to follow a comic title,
As I said in a previous post, this is why the character of Lucy is so repugnant. She’s a bully and a coward. She regularly assaults the boys, particularly Linus and Charlie Brown, trusting that the boys’ own reservation about hitting girls will keep them from retaliating. Lucy is unadulterated scum.
Which is why I think Lucy is such a truly horrid individual. She regularly assaults the boys, especially Linus and Charlie Brown, trusting that the boys’ ethics will prevent them from retaliating. She’s a bully and a coward.
It’s “losing,” not “loosing.”
A wonderfully dated joke that would be completely lost on today’s generation.
I don’t know why, but I thought this one was laugh-out-loud hilarious.
Charlie Brown is being unduly harsh on Schroeder. Lucy wasn’t exactly making herself likeable, with her unwanted marriage proposals and romantic overtures when Schroeder made it plain he wasn’t interested, her dissing Beethoven (even smashing one of the Beethoven busts that Schroeder placed on his piano). I often wondered why Schroeder even tolerated her.
Lucy being Lucy.
Interesting. Lucy and Charlie Brown team up to sadistically taunt Schroeder.
Quelle surprise. Lucy can’t take what she routinely dishes out.
