For help on how to follow a comic title,
I’ve had quite a few friends who’ve visited Viet-Nam. They all came back with fantastic reports about their trips and the experience.
The “flashdance” singlet sells it.
Came here to say the same thing. Thank you. Also— “every day charlie squats in the bush, he gets stronger…”
“We’re Tuesday people,’ — Mitch Albom “Tuesdays with Morrie”
I have a lot of buddies who’ve seen more than their share starting with Panama. I don’t ask, period. I’m glad to have my friends back. They know I’m there if they need me.
However, when I do hear others ask, the usual response is “Well, that was a long day…” and leave it at that.
My late brother used “Doonesbury” as a justification for getting a ‘72 BMW R75/5. Apparently JJ said that "college guys all ride BMW’s" and he had that strip on his door.
And that was a heart rending sequence of strips that hit home.
Geezum—- I remember when he and Mark did a cross country road trip in the “doonesbuggy”— a BMW R series with a side car— and not as a flashback strip. Now he’s “grandpa?”
Years ago, my brother and I bought my dad a Mac Classic. Dad “cleaned it up” and deleted all of the oldest files
Including the operating system…
As soon as my brother got it going again, dad, a 74 year old WWII vet, set out to learn the machine. Read the manual, took classes, tried stuff. Learned more about that thing than anyone I knew. He even started helping neighbors with their toys.
Old dogs can learn new tricks— even if they burn out the engine of the snowblower by not checking the oil.
They lost in 2020?
