They often have the same strip up for days as it is. There’s no reason they can’t do so in a way which makes them line up. Now, if their count is SO low that they’d be annoying people by leaving strips up more than a couple weeks, I could understand not doing it.

It’s such a shame that GoComics is unable to sync these strips better so that voting, winter, pre-Christmas, et al strips appear at the right time.

Some people have the sense to follow the ISO standard: 2019-03-14, which sort of works, too. It’s logical, avoids the ambiguity, and allows for simple sorting.
