Politifact rated the claim that Obama used tear gas as mostly true. So I suppose now that no one can claim that Obama was ‘soft on immigration’.

Let me clarify. Vindrinath was on topic, as he was pointing out that these cartoonists are also hypocritical, in the same sense that Bob Gorrell accuses MSM of being hypocritical.

The government does not benefit from the existence of Climate Change, no one does. Most scientists are government-funded, because most scientists worked at government-owned educational institutions. And by the way, your source was in Millions, not Billions. The government spends one hundred million, not one hundred billion, dollars. That is a massive difference: 100 million is a thousands times less than 100 billion. Scientists who don’t rely on government money mostly rely on fossil fuel money. They are clearly biased against climate change. Also, legal donations are not money laundering. Laundering is what the Trump campaign did, specifically, Paul Manafort.1) Due to the Greenhouse Effect, higher levels of carbon dioxide will result in higher temperatures.2) As sea levels rise and typhoons become more intense, people will start moving inland, which will increase incursion into the forests that are there.3) Even if droughts are commonplace in California, Climate Change will make them more intense, and will make them last longer and more frequent.4) As Odon said, one of his reasons did not have anything to do with Climate Change. Bark Beetles appear to not have anything to do with Climate Change.

Sigh. Relative to human lives and civilization, the climate does not change, because actual substantial changes take place over millions of years. Human activity is causing the climate to change much more quickly, and in one specific direction. Humans are making the climate warmer and drier in this area. This makes it easier for forest fires to grow and become stronger, to the point where the smoke reaches major cities. I do agree, however, that people should not rebuild their homes where they were burned down. Humans should live in less fire-prone areas.

MAGA => MPSA. I couldn’t imagine Trump doing that.

Another disaster? Bill Clinton was rather a good president, policy-wise. Quite simply, the Electoral College allowed a minority to overrule a majority. This is the tyranny of the minority: a minority puts someone into office who screws over the majority that voted against him. And it is quite telling that America is the ONLY country that uses this system. When creating their democracies, other countries could have chosen a system like our own, but they looked at us, and correctly decided to be ruled by a majority, rather than a minority.
