There is definitely something funny going on here!
OOPs, the deletion was accidental. Thanks for the recap. Here is the link from my original post.
The article appeared in a magazine called Hogan’s Alley No. 4 from the 1990s in a feature called “Nancy gets Cloned”. It looks like both Gilchrists were working the strip at that time—so much for the notion that “two heads are better than one”!
I realize what’s wrong with today’s comic—and all OJ’s strips so far—they are just not maudlin enough for the Gilchrist aficionado—and thank God they are that way!
Number 1 pick today.
Anybody still comparing the new highly creative and really funny Nancy with the maudlin tripe Gilchrist produced must be suffering from chronic saccharin withdrawal.
I have a theory on this one. Maybe Aunt Fritzi is a time traveler and she kept the cover over her car in the earlier strip so she wouldn’t be seen driving an EV fifty years before they became commercially available.
This EV is obviously a Tesla 4 with a “cord override” feature invented by Elon Musk to capture the range challenged market.
Score one for littleteacup.net for OJ’s identity…
A strip that shows OJ is just being Ernest!
