40 years ago visiting distant relatives in Nova Scotia, Canada, after a rousing multicourse dinner featuring veggies pulled out of the garden that afternoon we would go to spend the evening meeting another relative. As the evening wore on and the older folks were starting to nod off, the hostess would say, “let’s have supper!” and out would come freshly made gngerbread and whipped cream, or a berry cobbler (tastes like a pie, looks like a cake) or some other treat.

Interesting that the car said “SKEEEE” whereas Dirk’s car when confronting Brad three years ago said “SKRREEECH” – Dirk’s car had a more mature vocabulary.

Try this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/814296723/complete-colossus-trilogy-by-d-f-jonesAs a general rule, if there is a question mark in the URL and the question mark is not “in quotes?” like that, then the question mark and everything after it is unnecessary. Before the question mark shows where you want to go, after the question mark shows who you are, where you have been and what you have been doing.

She pulled a strand of hair to the side (maybe braided it, can’t tell) and put a flower-themed pony-tail holder around it. It’s the glamour girl way of evoking a “garden” theme – that and the flower-themed sundress. She didn’t realize that they would be dealing with vegetables or she would have chosed an eggplant-and-peach theme.

There would have been more security if it was a cross border flight. A flight between two Canadian airports had about the same security as going to the grocery

The concern about children is this: A child has the same chance, more-or-less of becoming infected after exposure as any adult. The good news is that the child has a vanishingly small chance of showing any serious symptoms. The bad news is that the child is still very contagious and will be going around coughing on its playmates as well as the adults in the family. If any of the adults in this child’s family or the families of its playmates are 80+ years old and especially if they have compromised immune systems or respirators issues (both pretty common among nonagenarians) the kid is likely to be going to a funeral soon.
