   Greetings readersThank you for your wonderful praise.I apologize for the mistake in the cartoon. I work on these cartoons by myself without the input of editors or newspaper staff. And well, things slip through the cracks. But rest assured steps have been taken to lessen the chances of that happening again. But of course it will happen again.

   I’m a working artist and graphic designer, the editorial cartoons are done as a hobby of sorts. I enjoy doing them, I like the weekly deadline (since 2001), and people like to read them. And of course, I have something to say.

   Oh yeah, I did the last two cartoons in a watercolor, ink, rendering style. What do you think? Which do you like better?

   I don’t usually come here to read the comments, But it is always great to hear from you, my readers. Thank you for taking the time to read my stuff and write a few words. Marty

   As you may know this editioon is posted early (I usually post on Thursdays). I just figured it would make a better impact on Election Day.I write and create these comics the week before you see them here so my main newspaper has time to print and distribute before I go online. The Lakota Times is a small weekly that serves the Pine Ridge Reservation, SD. My Tribe and the reason I make this work.I really don’t make much money doing this work as I’m a professional artist as my main focus. But I create the cartoons because it is fun for me.    Thanks Guys! I create the cartoons a week in advance of you seeing it here on GoComics. Normally I write the thing on a Friday and submit it to my in print newspapers. Then I hold it until Thursday the following week. The system is automated so when I spot an error it is too late to switch the comic out.Typos in print are a weird phenomenon, I worked in newspapers most of my career and have seen misspelled 60 pt. headlines on the front page get past English Majors.
