Washington state (vote by mail for years), now even free postage to return. We get them 2 weeks before the vote, took a week and a half to get confirmation online of them being received and accepted— they had already received back over half of the ballots a week after they were sent out so they are swamped by returned ballots but getting it done— it’s as if people are concerned and anxious about this election for some reason…

I am not sure what “too far” would even be for them— or I guess I just don’t want to see the result they are moving toward. I am curious why Trump refusing to shake Peolsi’s hand is not important in the press. It was gasped at as it happened live yet afterwards only her tearing up her own printed copy of the speech appears to be of importance.

It indeed was bizarre for NBC News to complain that the impeachment proceeding were boring and lacked “pizzazz”! Thank you for once again being so quick to adopt current events to your comic Brian.

There is info at https://www.biography.com/news/edith-wilson-first-president-biography-facts and you can read more at https://www.whitehouse.gov/about-the-white-house/first-ladies/edith-bolling-galt-wilson/. Edith did refer to it as her “stewardship” of the Presidency. There are biographies that say she did more than screen and relay information. I would not refer to it as an urban legend, it is disagreement between researched biographies as to the extent of her involvement in the execution of the role of President and how much she kept the extent of her husband’s health decline a secret. One biography does not history make.
