   Respectfully, there is a big grown up elephant in the room no one has mentioned. Les has a job & Bets has her own substantial income to allow her to travel. Gunther doesn’t. Not even an internship. I can understand why Bets would bolt and Les wouldn’t want to spend his day off babysitting Gunth when he could be playing games.

   I kinda feel Bets dodged a bullet here more than Gunther. She really didn’t deserve to spend her days holed up in the gulag avoiding gunny’s mother, sharing a bathroom with Les, and putting up with Guth’s now very apparent insecurities. Good for her.

   So if Tiff plays to her strengths and let’s her “friends” take care of her Bets tells her to grow up. If Tiff shows ambition and sets boundaries for her needs, Bets calls her a tyrant. Stop living up to Bets’s “standards”, Tiff.

   She’s definitely a fool for Gunther. Volunteering herself into enforcing rules at the Gulag won’t end well.

   The difference between a tycoon and a tyrant is a tycoon can afford a lawyer to do what Tiff is doing, setting boundaries and expectations. If it is a shared room, Dez can accommodate some boundaries. Good for Tiff for getting her ambition and self respect back.

   Respectfully, why should Tiff have to “grow a pair”? She is a female, and the two people in the room with a pair are letting Bets, a female, do there dirty work. Tiff shouldn’t have to meet Bets non explicit standards for adulthood, which is begining to sound more and more like man = adult. Maybe Gunther needs to grow some overies.

   Bets isn’t trying to be a bad friend, she is just not what Tiff needs at this point, so best for Tiff to recognize her good intentions but also limit her time around Bets. The road to heck is paved with Bets good intentions, and Tiff doesn’t need that. By the way, crying is a totaly accepted way to react to being rejected by your friends. So Tiff needs to grow up means meet MY standards for grown up coming from Bets. Screw that.

   You want a mansion. Tiff doesn’t. No one has ever asked Tiff what she wants, in fact, which is very objectifying.

    Respectfully, life can have a lot more lollypops in it without “friends” like you Bets. Tiff has taken more abuse than most of the characters on here, so she’s fully aware that life is not always sunshine and lollipops. Better advice: learn to write a contract. most of Tiffs problems have been due to a miss match in boundaries and expectations. So, stephani & dorms? Write a roommate contract of behavior. Steph & storage? Write a contract limiting liability. Les? An explicit contract on $ split at work. I think tiffs best bet is still to accept her friends aren’t a very good support network for her, and limit her liability with them accordingly. But no one can accuse Tiff of not growing up, at least as compared to Gunther, Luann, Les, and even Bets, who needs to learn a thing or two about management and people skills if she ever plans to scale her $ plans.
