“A man suspected of planning to attack …. was killed….

… at one point he had considered …

    …considered various targets…

… intended to use a car bomb …."

That reads like a Pre-Crime report. Where was this guy’s “Minority Report”?

It isn’t COVID-19 if you are speaking of the virus. It is SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-CoronaVirus-2), which is the virus that causes COVID-19 (COronaVIrus Disease 2019).

No comments about the two pennies over the eyes? All about whether or not it was a tip or change from the bill, but nothing about the additional death omen?

Yeah, cats know who doesn’t like them. They assert their dominance over the unbelievers and ignore the faithful.

    Fun with zero …. 0 / 0 = undetermined, and 0 × 0 = 0 (and 0^2=0), yet 0! = 1.

The problem with documenting everything is that the documenting becomes the life. Don’t put a camera (or a phone with a camera) between you and life. Just live. Don’t document/record/capture life.

As one who was behind the camera over and over again on family vacations, I felt a growing distance between me and the family. I was on one side of a screen viewing life going on around me rather than just living. I would rather have the memory than the memorial … i.e., I prefer to live in the moment rather than record the moment.

That is not strictly true. The Qwerty keyboard was designed to space out commonly used letters to allow the swing arm for each letter time to strike the ribbon and rectract. It wasn’t to slow down the typist, per se.
