my husband like to have a conversation with me whilst he is in the living room (around the corner) and I am in the kitchen doing dishes or cooking.
I never attended a party with Kavanaugh. I was in high school in the ’70’s. But… Where was the cocaine? Where were the blunts? What about the vodka, brandy, scotch and whiskey?
As a teacher, I believe that the school year should start directly after New Year’s Day and end the day before Halloween. No work gets done in November (too many holidays and visiting relatives) or December (half of it’s gone to midwinter break). The Holidays in the June-August don’t take up that much time and (4th of July being usually a one day thing, at least in the places i’ve lived) can easily be incorporated into the curriculum.

from where I sit the question was “would you rather have a lie that lifts you up? or a truth that holds you in contempt?” Trailer park communities aren’t bad places to live, depends on the neighbor’s and who is inside the trailer. Single family homes are the same way.
It could be about either the left or the right. Both sides screaming.
Lots of folk who majored in such things as “Ancient Greek” or “Religion” go to Comm College to get skills in a paying job. By Brother in Law majored in comparative linguistics and just finished his HVAC degree at his local Comm. College. My son became a potter (with a business degree) at our local comm college. His high school wanted him to go to RISD @ $67,000.00 per YEAR. He worked with international known potters who were local and gave him an entrance to the local pottery world. all for $2000.00 a year.
