   I didn’t get that at all. The didn’t realize that they don’t need men in their lives. They realized that they don’t HAVE any men in their lives.

   Buzzzz! Wrong answer Frank. The proper response was to tell her “sure, if you pay for it!” For god’s sake, teach the girl some responsibility. I got a job and paid for everything when I went to college. Including my car.

   She’s my best friend, but at the time she didn’t think the gift (jewelry) was appropriate for our friendship. As I said I gave the gift to my mother.

   As for Pru, she shouldn’t make that assumption, but either way, now I agree with my friend. Pru should reject the gift as being inappropriate

   Really? Interesting. Boys have been buying girls they hardly know expensive gifts literally for centuries. Hell, I’ve done it. Girl turned me down, and I gave the gift to my motther.

   Drywall should be hung butting up to the ceiling. Any gaps that need to be filled should be near the floor where the seams can be more easily covered by moulding, or furniture, etc.
