A much more reasonable map can be found here: http://www.ravi.io/us-population-trends-cartogram

There are many states that are much bigger, but the artist wants to make California look much more powerful than it is.

It would be very interesting to see a cartogram based on the power per voter. In that cartogram, Wyoming would be much bigger than Texas because the “One Man One Vote” principle shows that Wyoming voters have almost three times as much power as the Texas voters.

I agree with Stipple, the book is obviously fantasy, and doesn’t need to be labeled as such.

Interesting that another commenting person confused dragons with dinosaurs. I bet he doesn’t insist that regular fiction titles at his bookstore, like Anne McCaffrey’s Dragon books, get a special label, except the small label on the spine.

The 22-week (weekly) adventure (that starts where this daily adventure left off) is also great:

I have friended the author on Facebook in the hopes that I’ll find out when the newest Dragon Girl starts.

This was a wonderful story. I read the first few weeks daily, then got out of the habit of checking GoComics. Last night, I went through all my comics for the day, then, remembering how much I had enjoyed the first few weeks of “Dragon Girl”, sought her out and read it cover to cover.

    EXCELLENT!

Do let me know if you ever start up her adventures again.

Why can’t we give Pluto the title, “Planet Emeritus” ?

  6. over 8 years ago on The Dinette Set

The “Dinette Set” should investigate a roof top antenna. I get so many channels, plus I have Amazon Prime, so I don’t miss cable or satellite.

Oops, she must have SENT A MENTAL attack at her former Lesbro.

yes, effect is the noun, affect is the verb.

The main thing I remember about Centauri was that his part was based on that “con man” in The Music Man … and Robert Preston certainly fit the part, in both movies.
