Lisa, you should really take the comparison to Bill Mauldin out of your bio at left. Bill Mauldin would find your views despicable.

To everyone who’s enjoyed reading Dragon Girl: many thanks! I loved reading your comments everyday—especially the compliments!

There are no plans for a second book right now, but the best way to change that is to buy the first book using the link at top right. And remember, you can get a little more of Alanna and Griffin at www.RobotsAndQuicksand.com.

Tomorrow’s the end of the story. There’s a lot of back matter in the book (pages from Margolyn’s dragon notebooks; diagrams of the Dragonfly’s interior, etc.) but I don’t know if GoComics plans to run that stuff. I guess we’ll see come Monday. Either way—happy trails, everyone! It’s been a blast!

Regarding the issue of Hamel’s knowing about flammable gases: I actually discussed this with the editor of the book way back before it was published. I argued Hamel’s experience as a blacksmith would give him a bit of knowledge about such things. My editor bought the argument. Hopefully you guys will too.

Another double-page spread from he book makes for a little awkward reading today and tomorrow. Sorry.

Not mail. Quilted fabric, a common undergarment for armor.
