    “…you have seen FARTHER…” Further is an adjective. The two are not interchangeable.!! AN D there is no such word as “furthest.”

    A group of parents IS…………… group is the singular subject, not parents. This kind of mistake is taking over all over the place, thanks to the internet. It is just plain wrong.

    LIE down, not lay. Geez can’t anybody ever get those two verbs right? Years ago the dean where I was teaching said “we just don’t have that kind of money laying around.” The groan from the assembled faculty was heard out in the corridor.
