   Good for you! We only got 1 inch, but we haven’t gotten even 3 inches since we planted our gardens.

   I was terribly nearsighted. I payed a lot for glasses that didn’t work, because at that time (a number of years ago) all the eye drs.

   said my eyes had to be worse before I would have been allowed to have cataract surgery in this country, although they would have allowed it in Europe. I was literally legally blind by the time I got surgery . It was wonderful! The operation only takes about 15 minutes and Immediately I could see clearly. That is when I found out my untreated eye (the cataract) was very thick and yellow and I could barely see through it! Because they corrrected my vision with the lenses, my prescription has not changed since then. You shouden’t feel bad for worrying about any operation on your eyes—it’s scarry! But pretty safe by now.

   I was gone when all this transpired (MCTS and Eldo both banned.) I don’t know why and I wish you would please lift the ban. I think Eldo has been a loyal fan of this website for longer than I have been and MCTS has only missed one day since he joined. Have real people please review their histories and please reinstate them. We miss them.

   Our daughter works 3rd shift often for 12 hours. my husband and I met each other many years ago while working a summer job 12 hour overnights. We have been married 52 years so some times good things come out of those third shift jobs.

   My husband hates onions and garlic! His mom gave him a green onion to chew on when he was a baby (what was she thinking) and he still gags when he smells a onion! I try not to peel them where he can smell them but, i told him I can"t cook without using a few onions. Now he has decided he hates garlic too! And I love it!

    Laughingkitty, Hope you are feeling better now. My daughter and her partner have both worked all through the pandemic and been really careful and got vaccinated as soon as they could, but they both came down with Covid just a few weeks ago. Chris first and then a couple days later, our daughter. They stayed home and tested every day. Dani said it was like she had a really bad cold; her nose ran like a faucet and she sneezed a lot. Chris was sicker, but he is really overweight. All together Dani missed 5 days at work. I hope your case is as mild. AT least you have lots of kitties to love and keep you company—get well son.
