    1. Why do you want insurance companies to be able to deny coverage for pre-existing conditions?

This is a good rule, but it shouldn’t require me to purchase health care that I will never use.

    2. Why is it bad to require insurance companies to spend at least 80% of insurance premiums on actual health care, as opposed to executive salaries and bonuses?

    See response to #1.

    3. Why is it bad for dependents to be able to stay on their parents’ policy until age 26, instead of making them get more expensive care at a younger age?

    See response to #1.

    4. Why do you like lifetime insurance caps?

    See response to #1.

    5. Why is it better to have millions of people uninsured who then use emergency rooms for routine care, costing far more?

Low income persons will still use the emergency room. They do not have the income, or do not want to spend what little income they have, on routine doctor visits. I know, I’ve been there. The ACA will not change the way people behave regarding medical. It will force those of us with no wish to ever visit a doctor to purchase expensive insurance that will never be used. THAT is what is wrong.

For the record – first time posting, but I have been reading the comments for years. I voted for Obama in 2008, but changed my vote in 2012 because of ACA.
